Respiration Sensor SOC is developing security sensors for home security devices. This sensor determines a person's position in a room, and can detect the respiratory movement on a person's chest by applying LD and specific optical devices to generate a quantity of infrared spots, and then analyzing fluctuations of each spot in the image of target domain. This device is expected to be utilized as a medical diagnostic system or emergency call system that can call for help quickly and automatically when a patient is unable to move due to a sudden attack.
